The Helen S. Breidegam School of Nursing at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú prepares nursing professionals who blend compassionate art with scientific inquiry and innovation to achieve a transformative education. At its core, the program develops resilient nurse leaders who collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide safe, high-quality care in a variety of settings. Graduates recognize their responsibilities within diverse, interdependent communities and embody ethics, lifelong learning, and service through a framework of social justice.
All our nursing students are exposed to a variety of clinical experiences and log over 900 hours in a variety of patient care, simulation and laboratory practice settings. Each individual clinical group is comprised of no more than 8 students.
All students are placed in similar types of quality clinical practice settings and benefit from two full rotations in community health practice settings. Rotations include the following:
