Call for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Proposals
We warmly invite Full Time Faculty to join our Spring 2026 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Faculty Learning Community, a supportive space designed specifically with your teaching in mind. Whether you're curious about a nagging question in your classroom, eager to connect with colleagues across disciplines, or simply want to make your excellent teaching more visible and valued as scholarship, this community is for you.
This year, we're especially excited to support faculty exploring AI integration in teaching and learning. As our university pioneers innovative approaches to AI in higher education, this learning community offers the perfect opportunity to systematically investigate how AI tools can enhance student learning in your discipline. No prior AI experience or research background required, just bring your passion for student learning, your willingness to explore, and your curiosity about emerging technologies.
Over the course of the semester, you'll join a cohort of 10 faculty colleagues for five 75-minute sessions where we'll read and discuss "Bridging Scholarship and Practice in Higher Education" while designing and implementing manageable classroom inquiry projects that fit into your existing courses. This isn't about adding more to your plate, it's about making your teaching innovations count toward your research expectations while improving student learning.
Deadline: November 21, 2025
