Rev. Dr. Domenik Ackermann
Rev. Dr. Domenik Ackermann, is Assistant Professor for the Practice of Ministerial Leadership at 糖心logo入口 School of Theology. After the completion of his Ph.D. on the experience of prayer in Judaism and Christianity at Boston College, Ackermann worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies at Paderborn University (Germany), where he collaborated on a project to transfer the comparative theological discourse into houses of worship and areas of education. His scholarship focuses on the hermeneutics of interfaith dialogue in the practice of ministry; liturgical theology; and leadership models in ministry. Aside from his academic appointment, Ackermann serves as an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. His teaching areas include: Future Ministerial Leadership; Worship; UCC Polity; Pastoral Theology.
