Interview Room Policies & Procedures

The interview rooms in the Laurie Riley 鈥82 Center for Career Success are designed to provide a quiet, professional, and accessible space for students to conduct interviews and meet with employers.
Through the generosity of RKL LLP and the 鈥淩oomies鈥 of Laurie Riley Brubaker 鈥82鈥擯at Murray Hanna 鈥82, Joanne Belletti Molle 鈥82, Judy Mazzucco Oehrle 鈥82, and Carol Sampson Sweeney 鈥82鈥攐ur students have two dedicated interview rooms to prepare for their careers.
- The rooms support student success by offering a setting for mock, phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
- These spaces reflect the Riley Center for Career Success鈥 mission to ensure equitable access to professional opportunities.
- They also reinforce our commitment to professionalism and career readiness as part of the Elevate Experience.
Eligibility & Access
- Rooms are available to
- Students conducting job, internship, or graduate/professional school interviews, virtual networking calls, or informational interviews.
- Employers hosting on-campus or virtual interviews with Moravian students.
- Faculty and staff facilitating mock interviews or career-related meetings.
- Use is limited to career-focused activities only.
- Rooms are not intended for personal study, club meetings, or unrelated virtual appointments.
- Access is granted through the Riley Center for Career Success staff; users must check in and out at the front desk.
- Walk-in use may be allowed if rooms are available during normal business hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday; however, reservations are strongly encouraged by contacting our office directly through email (careersuccess@moravian.ed), phone (610-861-1509), or stopping in the Riley Center for Career Success (Second Floor, Haupert Union Student Building).
- ADA accessibility and accommodation needs will be honored through coordination with the Office of Disabilities and Accommodations.
Hours of Availability
- Rooms are available Monday-Friday, during normal business hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Early morning or evening use may be arranged for special circumstances (e.g., time zone differences for virtual interviews) with at least 48 hours鈥 notice. Contact the Riley Center to request exceptions.
Reservation Process
- Room reservations can be made by contacting our office directly through email (careersuccess@moravian.edu), phone (610-861-1509), or stopping in the Riley Center for Career Success (Second Floor, Haupert Union Student Building).
- Requests should be made at least 2 business days in advance. Same-day requests may be accommodated if a room is available, but it is not guaranteed.
- Reservations are limited to a maximum of 1 hour per session. If there is a need for more time, the request can be reviewed for approval.
- Users should arrive at least 5鈥10 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Repeat no-shows may result in limited future access.
Room Use Guidelines
- Please maintain a professional environment: appropriate dress, language, and behavior are expected.
- Food is not permitted; beverages should be limited to water.
- Keep noise to a minimum; respect other appointments taking place nearby.
- Do not move furniture.
- Leave the room clean and organized after use.
- Remove all personal belongings at the end of the session.
- Report any damage, technical issues, or spills immediately to the Riley Center for Career Success staff.
Technology & Equipment
- You will need to supply your own phone and laptop (extra chargers will be on hand if needed).
- If wifi issues occur during use, users should notify the front desk immediately. Also be sure to work with IT for any specific needs regarding your laptop and connection issues.
Privacy & Confidentiality
- Interview rooms are designed to provide a private space for professional conversations.
- Users are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding any interview or employer information.
- Recording interviews or meetings is prohibited unless all participants have given consent.
- Rooms are monitored by staff for scheduling and safety purposes only; there are no audio or video recordings of private sessions.
Accountability & Enforcement
- Repeated no-shows, late arrivals, or misuse of the space may result in temporary suspension of room privileges.
- Damage to equipment or furnishings will be documented and addressed through University procedures.
- Staff reserve the right to enter a room during use for safety, technical assistance, or maintenance.
- Users are expected to comply with all 糖心logo入口 policies and student codes of conduct while using the rooms.
